The items on the wish list are to gamify learning while also developing social and emotional skills. Students lost important connections with peers while at home on distance learning. They suffered learning loss as well. The range of activities will address my learners who are more than two years behind grade level as well as engage my hi-cap students. Many suffer from math anxiety. Help me change that. Many practice/formative assessment opportunities during small group. Games are used in a center with the teacher so that I can see how they think/process and address misconceptions as well as partner work while I am working with others. How is Chutes and Ladders math? When paired with math fact cards, correct answers become tickets to a player's turn. Currently, my students are attending school daily, however manipulatives would be valuable hands-on learning at home.
