There are so many games that we can play with our students to learn their numbers to 100. They will also learn to see patterns in the hundreds chart and they can use it to use strategies such as "counting on/back" as they get into addition and subtraction. Skip counting is also an important skill that can be supported kinesthetically as they "skip" to numbers. There is so much knowledge to gain in something as simple as a hundred chart and constant access to them in their environment is important.
