As part of our computer science course, we hope to engage students with drone technology. Students will learn to pilot the Ryze Tello Drones using the Tello app on iPads. They will complete simple tasks at first but then move on to challenging obstacle courses. Students will then take the next steps in their learning as they program the drones and complete challenge courses. Teams of students will be tasked with measuring distances, angles, and landing zones. Then they will write the code to program the drones to complete the challenge. We are hoping to have six to eight of these drones to facilitate small teams working together in class.
