More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education.
Help my kinder babies get a rug for their classroom. Kindergartners learn a lot on the rug, but our classroom doesn’t currently have a rug big enough for each student to sit comfortably. Our current rug only fits half the students and the rest have to sit on the hard floor near the rug. We usually spend a huge portion of our day learning on the rug. We do our Calendar, read stories, and other fun learning.
A bigger rug would improve our learning environment. It would give each student their own spot to sit, which would limit distractions and increase their learning.
