I work as a special education teacher in a title 1 school in Hamden, CT. I work with mainly 5th and 6th grade students with a range of abilities in both their general education classrooms as well as in my resource room. My students are kind, funny, and hard working, and they deserve to have all the same advantages as children in wealthier districts.
