Many of our families are of a low socioeconomic status so it鈥檚 harder to buy these newer magazines for their kids. We know magazines are not as common now that kids are hooked on video games. I want to feed these kids and their desire to learn in and out of my classroom. They always take their learning home and tell their parents, but this would bring so much more of their learning to life. They always ask me 鈥淢s. G, how do you know all of that鈥, and I want them to see how by reading. I鈥檝e told my kids, I鈥檓 here to make them a better version of themselves and to one day become better than me. That can be pushed by these kids reading about the history of where we come from and the science of how it all works.
