I took over a 3rd-grade classroom mid-year. I am a first-year teacher working at a city school. I have limited resources and a class full of students excited to learn. My goal is to provide my students with a wide selection of books to help engage them in learning, build their reading skills, and help maintain their excitement for reading. We have a 30-minute block of Independent Reading time each day. I hope to provide my students with more options for books to read during this time and throughout each day.
