Whiteboards are a daily tool that we use in our classroom. This helps my students display the information fast and easily. They write information such as letters, words, and numbers. As a teacher, it helps me organize lessons productively and engage my students. It engages every student with all different needs. As part of our learning, we use whiteboards in reading. Students come to the rug, we chant the alphabet and continue with the reading routine. I display a picture and students repeat the word. We say the beginning sound of a word and students write the correct letter for the sound on their whiteboard. For high frequency words, I display the word, students repeat and chant the word. We use the high frequency in a sentence and students write the word on their whiteboards. By donating our project, it will help my students focus and boost academic performance in the long run. As the world is changing and technology is being part of our new learning, whiteboards will prepare our students by adapting and becoming empowered adults.
