I work with dyslexic students. I see the struggles and frustrations these students face each day. Not only do I teach them strategies for reading, but equally important, I work to build their self-confidence.
I want my dyslexic students to know that they are not alone. This projected would allow me to have an iPad in our classroom to use in all grade levels with the blending board, the ability to have items read aloud with apps that are created for students like mine, the ability to send reports and items to parents to continue practicing skills at home and to use the iPad as a positive reward with phonics based games that are aligned to our skills.
