All of my students are African American and live in the part of West Philadelphia that is our school's neighborhood. All have IEP's based on a variety of disability categories. They're funny, clever, kind hearted, helpful, ambitious, intelligent, and respectful despite the fact that some have endured unfathomable trauma. My students are all hopeful for their futures and I do everything I can to ensure the remain inspired.
