My students are creative and interested in changing the world. Our school is in a small district in an urban area. 96% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch but that is not a number that defines us. Our district has worked to deliberately make access to technology a priority in order to give our students every opportunity to learn and grow and be prepared for college and/or careers. We are encouraged to use technology in innovative ways and to put the devices in the hands of the students. It makes such a difference in their engagement as well as their proficiency in using available resources.
