My students are resilient, determined, and full of potential—they just need a little extra support to unlock it. They’re the ones who’ve struggled to grasp foundational math concepts, often feeling left behind in a fast-paced classroom. But instead of giving up, they show up for intervention sessions with me, ready to try again.
These students come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges, both in and out of school. What they have in common is a desire to succeed and the courage to keep pushing forward, even when the numbers don’t seem to add up. In our small group sessions, we work on building confidence, strengthening skills, and celebrating every breakthrough—no matter how small.
