The students I teach are from the inner city and the communities they come from are very poor. Most of the student's parents receive government assistance and cannot provide the students with new books such as Bluford Series, which we would love to have. The school consist of 90% free or reduce lunch students and for this reason we are considered high poverty. The students love to read, but many don't know how. The Bluford Series books will help us solve this problem. The students love technology but there is very little found at our school. The school is trying to provide the students with a solid education but the financial situation hinders their desires.
