Our school was a Title One school that has recently become a AAA school. Many of my students do not have an opportunity to access a variety of literature. When they come to school it is a safe place where they can learn, grow, and thrive. Many of my students go home to take care of their household and siblings rather than be a kid. I would like to give them something to be passionate about- the love of reading and discovering their interests.

About my class

Our school was a Title One school that has recently become a AAA school. Many of my students do not have an opportunity to access a variety of literature. When they come to school it is a safe place where they can learn, grow, and thrive. Many of my students go home to take care of their household and siblings rather than be a kid. I would like to give them something to be passionate about- the love of reading and discovering their interests.
