I am the lucky fourth grade teacher to 24 students in a diverse science magnet school where more than 15 languages are spoken throughout our population. We are the largest of 12 elementary schools in the district, serving over 600 students in a low income area of Connecticut. These students look forward to coming to school everyday ready to learn something new and having the comfort to feel safe in the classroom.
