The students I teach often don't have a grasp on the reality of money in our world. The class I teach helps give them knowledge of financial information in our society at an adapted level that they can learn and practice. My students learn through a variety of learning styles. Children are not machines and they cannot be expected to function as machines. They learn through visual, tactile, kinesthetic, auditory and written methods. With these resources I can provide them with a variety of methods to learn in my classroom.
The number one problem in today's generation and economy is the lack of financial literacy. My goal is to provide them with as much information in financial literacy to help them plant the seeds to their own financial freedom. The goal is to help them break the cycle of generational poverty to allow them to make more of themselves so that they can live with financial freedom.
