My students love to talk and move, and I am always looking for more ways to incorporate this into my classroom. I know that when both bodies and brains are involved, more learning is occurring.
The tabletop easel will help me work with small groups of students during our collaborative lessons, and the timers and music will help groups stay on task as they work together to solve problems in science, teaching important self-direction and self-management skills. The collaborative learning books will help me always have engaging lesson ideas at my fingertips, and the lanyards will remind students of their assigned group roles and include tips on how to effectively fill each role.
While they work, students can tap, talk, hum, and fidget as much as they need, because they will have visuals in place to help keep them on track, and classmates beside them to cheer them on!
