Students in my class are in a very wide range of reading levels. Currently, we have very few class sets that are "one size fits all" and just don't reach very many students. Having new books to help with the differentiation in my classroom will make it easier to get students of all reading levels excited about reading. In addition to the varying reading levels, I have also incorporated books that cover a variety of different STEM topics, and books that discuss students' social-emotional needs. I believe having books that illustrate in depth the important topics we cover will keep my students engaged and more active during our lessons and projects!
