These two portable CD players will enhance my students' love for reading during their Read to Self/Listen to Reading time in the classroom. They will be able to pick out their favorite story from a variety of books on CD, find a comfy spot in the room and listen to the story being read to them quietly while they master their concepts of print skills. My students will gain independence of working this electronic device while engaging them in text and exposing them to new words to build on their vocabulary in addition to improving their comprehension of stories and their critical thinking skills.

About my class
