I want my students to be aspiring historians, ready and able to discern information and point of view from primary and secondary sources. I want them to research people and events from the past and issues from today and form their own opinions. I want them to debate each other respectfully. I want them to present their research in a confident manner. These Chromebooks will be a cornerstone to giving them the opportunity to practicing all those skills. They will use them to access online news and historical resources, utilize Office 365 and Google classroom, and create their varied writing assignments.
