Hola! My name is Cecilia Guzman-Marron. I'm a second grade teacher at a dual language school in Mount Vernon, Washington. All of my students come from very diverse and unique backgrounds. My students are all language learners, half coming from Spanish speaking families, while the other half come from English speaking families. In addition, a handful of my students come from families whose first language is Mixteco or Triqui (indigenous languages from Mexico). Every one of my students bring unique and interesting abilities to the classroom that they enjoy sharing in our classroom community.
