We are in much need of new bows and mutes for instruments. Most of the bows currently being used by students are more than 15 years old and have not been rehaired or replaced. It is definitely time to start getting some new supplies that will be easier for the students to use and help with their overall sound. We are planning to play a couple of pieces this year that require extended bowing techniques and instrument mutes. When looking into our supplies and storage we discovered that we had no extra mutes and plenty of students that did not have them in their instrument case.
