Our students are a phenomenal group of young people.
Our scholars are an intriguing, intelligent, wise, witty, and pleasant group of young people with an passion for pursuing their purpose.
While the aforementioned superlatives are rarely assigned to middle school students in the impoverished region of Georgia that my students call home, these attributes accurately describe our young scholars.
This year our scholars are taking on the charge of becoming the change they want to see in the world. They will realize this charge by not only being learners but leaders. Our kids will take the plunge into closing the chasms in academic and social issues that impact our school & local community. They are seizing this charge so that contemporary misfortunes will not foretell their futures. Since our scholars are tomorrow's leaders they mine as well get ready for that responsibility today.
