Students will use these sensory items daily while at school. We give these items to our students to use in the classroom to help them pay better attention to the lessons and engage more with their teachers and peers. The smaller items are also able to go home with them to use.
Students use these items to get the tactile or mobile input they need to focus and calm. It's amazing to see the difference a small items moving in a student's hand can do in the classroom or during small group counseling.
Our students also enjoy having access to coloring pages and games while in the counseling space. Coloring often allows them to have a active distraction when talking about their experiences or emotions. The games are a great way to get them engaged in a lesson without realizing it too!
