Because we are using a remote learning model due to COVID, it is important that we use technology to make our teaching as effective, exciting, and seamless as possible.
By having dual monitors, I can quickly react and respond to my students' needs by seeing them on one screen, and work with the materials I am presenting or assignments I am reviewing on the other. I won't have to juggle between websites, applications, and learning management systems, which slows down our pace, and causes students to lose interest quickly. Another monitor is not a major expense, but can have a huge impact on whether or not my students stay attentive and motivated to learn from home.
