Welcome to Biology at Montgomery Blair High School!
I am Ms. Earle, and I am very excited to engage my students in biologythe study of life. This course will help us better appreciate the creatures around us, understand the marvels of the human body, and realize the magnificent processes of life.
Learning in any classroom is a messy process that rarely results from a linear flow of thought. Since information is most useful when it is organized, I choose to use AVID strategies of Interactive Notebooks and Cornell notes to help students physically organize their learning.
The student populations I teach include Honors level, ESOL (for English Language Learners), and students with learning disabilities. Although the scaffolding varies with each student section, interacting with the content helps them all achieve academic success!
I look forward to sharing our journey of learning with each of you :)
