After receiving an Oculus Quest 2 over the holidays, I realized what a powerful educational tool it was. I also saw the potential of the Oculus to allow my students to have experiences they will always remember.
My hope is that it creates a burning desire in my students to move outside of the walls of this city and actually personally experience our beautiful world.
One of the most important aspects that should be built in childhood is background knowledge, the Oculus will be another tool for building their knowledge.
