Why am I a teacher? Because I love to watch the "light bulbs" turn on!
I have been teaching for 8 years now, and each year, my passion for teaching has become stronger. As a 2nd grade teacher, I have found that what makes it worth it is watching my students suddenly understand something that was really difficult for them previously. Because I teach in a district with a high population of ELL students and students from low socioeconomic backgrounds, I am constantly trying to supply my kids with materials that will support their learning and motivate them to put forth their best efforts. That's why I need your help!
