In order to fully engage students in today's classroom, technology is pivotal. My paradigm learning shift in my classroom is moving to a technologically advanced setting in which students use technology on a daily basis. It is a necessity that is currently limited in my classroom because of the lack of student owned devices.
With these iPads, more students will have the opportunity to practice and prepare for a future in the 21st century while become tech scientist.
The new age of science learning includes using technology to complete virtual lab experiments, analyze research, and collaborate with others during project based learning. In addition, iPads will help students answer questions and research their scientific ideas while teaching them how to become critical thinkers and innovators. Students love to be able to use technology and it is my goal to ignite and maintain student engagement by incorporating technology into the student's learning.
