Our school is an inner city school that is considered Title 1. I have children from many different social and economic backgrounds in my class and we have a very diverse population. My current classroom is currently made up of Special Education students, Regular Education Students, bilingual students and talented and gifted. Due to the diversity in our school, some children have a difficult time adjusting to school and coming prepared to learn. It is my job to provide them with the tools they all need, whether they are struggling or need enrichment, to be as successful as they can be in first grade.
