Hello Potential Donor! Thank you for reading my welcome message. I am an elementary teacher of some fabulous fifth graders in a public school in Norcross, GA. My school is a Title I school which means that we have a high percentage of students from low-income families. Often times students are struggling with obstacles out of my control, so I strive to create a classroom environment where they feel safe, valued, important, and loved. I just graduated from the University of Georgia and finished a part year teaching position at another school in my county. This upcoming academic year will be my first complete year as a teacher! I am so excited! My classroom will be incredibly diverse, with students from all different backgrounds. Our students are eager to learn and we encourage all of our students to want to stay in school and attend college.
