The items that your donations go towards will help my classroom become more diverse for my student's seating arrangements. My students will be able to pick the seat or area in the classroom where they are most successful, because lets face it.
The days where students were expected to sit at a desk all day are over.
The stability balls will give my students the ability to bounce while working and also work their core muscles. The lapdesks will allow students who enjoy working on the floor to do so. I plan on using the tennis balls to attach to the legs of desks so I can lower them closer to the floor so students can sit on pillows/rugs or kneel.
Definitely in my classroom! I want to see my kids working in pairs and in groups all around the classroom; not confined to their desks. I want others to walk in and see student engagement because the classroom tailors to all of my student's needs.
The different seating arrangements that I have asked for will be added to what is in my classroom already. I want to make sure ALL my students are able to choose their "fun" seat that makes them most successful in the classroom.
Also, with the movement of my students, I want to make sure they have a place for all of their school supplies since we are eliminating desks from the classroom.
