The students in my class require different types of furniture and equipment to help them learn in the classroom. Some of my students are active and hand sensory needs that I am not able to meet unless I have the appropriate supplies. The items I am ordering will be used throughout the day by my students in order to assist with their learning. By providing new items in the sensory break area, my students will be ecstatic and will be motivated to explore the new things. The music on the iPod will give them the chance to listen to music while they work in a quiet area, or listen to relaxation sounds (i.e. the sound of the ocean, etc.). Other items that we receive will be used to meet the needs of other students such as those who explore items by placing them in the mouth will have the chew stixx which are flavored. My students will appreciate having new items in the classroom, knowing that they have a place to go to for a sensory break throughout the day.
