My students are a unique group of learners. They come from a very low income community, with a wide variety of backgrounds. More than half of my students are non English speaking and come in to school learning to speak our language. Many do not have family at home that speak English and therefore it is very difficult to acquire help or support in learning at home. Much of what my students learn will only happen in the classroom.
My school has a limited budget and can not supply these items to help make my classroom current, comfortable and a place that students want to learn and become addicted to reading and communicating independently.
