I have a third grade class of eighteen students who are all ELL's. They love learning new things and are very curious about the world, as well as technology. Their reading levels falls far below those of their peers. At this point, their deficit in reading is affecting their ability to succeed in other subject areas, such as math. The school is a title 1 and 21st century school (as of this year); it is located in a very diverse and low income area.
