Students will all have the same notebook to use for the assignment. Having a paper journal gives them the chance to touch and feel their writing. It offers them the experience to write and revise and have a working journal in their hands throughout the semester. Students write better off electronic devices. We will respond to daily writing prompts with multimedia projects that cover all types of writing (expository, narrative, persuasive, list making, short answer, outlines). The goal is to keep all of their writing in one place so that they form a collection. They can add stickers and other items to make it personal.
