My fourth graders are intuitive, thoughtful, and crave opportunities to expand their learning. I strive to provide an education where children feel safe, advocated for, and challenged academically. I am deeply committed to being a collaborative and equitable
educator who establishes an inclusive environment to ensure the long-term success of my students. In my
classroom, strong educational communities are built on a foundation where families and students are at the core,
feeling a sense of belonging and support. I partner with students to grow their independence by equipping them
with strategies to effectively advocate for their needs in and out of the classroom.
Learning is a unique process; therefore, our instruction
should reflect this. Each student who walks into "Ms. Curry's Class" is part of a forever "Ohana" - a chosen family where no one is left behind or forgotten.
