I am a speech-language pathologist with a passion to help young people with communication disorders. To help them communicate effectively, assertively and confidently but to also feel like they fit into the school community. I believe that all young people have a voice and the children I work with just need to learn the power of their own individual voice. They need to learn that what they say is more important than how it is said. I am also passionate about helping young people who stutter and have volunteered to design, coordinate, and direct a summer camp opportunity for young people who stutter. Camp Shout Out is a combined intensive speech therapy and recreation opportunity for campers as well as a learning environment for speech pathologists and graduate students.
