My students live in a low income urban community and they are struggling to keep their academics strong. They are looking for new and inventive ways to stay interested in science and social studies. Many do not have books, newspapers or magazines available to them in their homes. I am hoping to acquire supplies that will help them to do hands-on learning for meaningful and memorable experiences.
