Our school is located in the southeast, delta region of our state where resources are limited and the pandemic has greatly affected our educational system. The more opportunities and resources I can provide for my students, the more likely they will be to develop a love for learning. My goal as a teacher is to remove learning obstacles my students may encounter or teach them to navigate around or over those hurdles and to help each student develop a love of learning. Providing a comfortable, safe learning environment is important for my classroom and my students. This type of environment is essential for students to feel comfortable taking learning risks and striving beyond their own expectations.
