Everything I remember about middle school, revolves around the fun! Whether it be art projects, using manipulatives, or being given the opportunity to be creative. Nowadays, school has lost it's element of fun. That's where I come in. I believe school can, and should be fun, and students will still succeed at high levels. My 5th grade students come to school with excitement and the desire to learn, but lack many of the resources to help them. It is proven that when students are able to experience their learning, the level of retention sky rockets. Each item purchased will be used to illustrate, and enhance my students learning. When the classroom is full of student's creations, the atmosphere becomes lighter, helping to keep the climate under control. Our classroom will be transformed and this will be a room that the children look forward to coming to every day.

About my class
