World doorways for my students have been opened and experienced because of their artistic achievements. I have had students meet presidents, governors, state representatives, consulates, ambassadors; appear on national/international news programs, and travel the world due to their creativity fostered within my classroom walls. I have given students lifelong positive memories and educational opportunities through art education. These experiences assisted with the development of these children in being lifelong advocates of the arts. I have taught my students the importance of the arts to their lives and to foster the creativity that lives in each of them.
