I am a science teacher that teaches sheltered classes to five different levels of English Learners (ELs). My students are from all over the world including: Haiti, Togo, Vietnam, India, Columbia, China, Honduras, El Salvador, Haiti and Puerto Rico...to just name a few. They have all faced adversity, but they enrich my classroom (and my life) with their diverse experiences and knowledge, and they support each other on their journey to learning English, as well as, figuring out how to be a high school student in United States. I want to provide them with the best education that I can to help them achieve their dreams in America.
