I teach in an inner city, Title I school with a high minority population. The students in my Women In Science & Engineering Club are 75% girls and 25% boys who are excited about doing science and engineering outside of the regular school hours. My students are hardworking and curious, but miss out on some of the traditional high school science experiences due to limited resources. Our W.I.S.E. group tries to change that.
