All students want to learn, but expecting them to sit still in hard school chairs all day is not reasonable. With flexible seating options, my students will be able to sit on their choice of a wiggle chair, ball chair, wiggle cushion, and many more options to help them get some wiggles out while still learning! Flexible seating is a new trend in classrooms, and I want my students to have the best! Flexible seating offers students with sensory issues and ADD a way to get their needs met, without it being noticeable to other students. It makes learning exciting and fun while giving the students ownership of choice and comfort. Flexible seating also promotes physical health as students wiggle, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow, ​and core strength. In turn, this burns more calories and increases metabolism. It also helps keep young minds more alert and focused. Thank you for your help and support as I transition my classroom into an inspirational and fun place for my students to want to come and learn daily!
