I teach writing and social studies to a great group of students. These students are in grades 1, 2, and 3. Unfortunately, the majority of these students live in small cramped apartments and share rooms with multiple siblings, or even their parents. Though they arrive to school without breakfast, school supplies, or, sometimes, clean clothes, the students are willing to learn. They are enthusiastic, have great personalities, and grow SO much throughout the year. I love working with these kids!
