I would like my classroom library to include books that my students can learn from and will enjoy listening to.
These books will give my students the opportunity to reach their learning goals while listening to relatable stories.
These stories expose my students to socials skills that are fundamental for their development, and it is imperative that our kids love the books we read to them in order to keep them engaged.
The topics covered in these titles are a huge part of our daily lives and show my students that it's okay to be different. The National Geographic Readers collection will expose my students to non-fiction informational texts, teaching them to read to learn.
