I teach Music to Kindergarten to Sixth grade. My students look forward to music class and enjoy singing, dancing, and playing instruments. They are always hoping that they will be using the instruments or singing a favorite song they learned the day they come to class. I have students who go home at the end of the day singing the songs they have learned and teaching them to their families. When I have to tell them it's time to leave or time to put the instruments away, they all ask to play and sing that song one more time or maybe even play and sing for their homeroom teacher. Their enthusiasm for learning new music is exciting and I hope it continues all year.
