First of all, I'm so happy that you're reading this! My students are multilingual learners that come from different backgrounds and experiences, thus resulting in them having different language abilities. I serve all high school grade levels, 9-12, in my two periods at the high school. Every year is different, as far as how many students I may actually have in one of the two periods I teach, but overall we average about 35 students who are in the state's EL program. My focus, as an EL Teacher, is to help our students grow in the areas of Speaking, Listening, Writing, and Reading. I'm very hopeful that this page will help us purchase materials that will not only engage them but enhance their learning as well.
