The students of our school will have the chance to choose the club of their choice. I would like to explore more STEM activities with Lego house and K'Nex cars. I would like to have small groups that have their own 10 by 10 square and work together to build. My students are interested in cars and how to build them. When I heard them say this I thought of when I was a child. We use to build cars all the time with K'NEX toys. At our school we have a ZEN Zone also know as a calm down area or quiet area. These materials could be used in this area as well to take their mind off the the anxiety and stress. I would like to use these materials during inside recess as well.
